Here are a bunch of house photos, just for you....

Ok, so since I've been away for awhile now, I thought it was only fair to share a bunch of pictures for you! :) These pictures are totally random and not at all in sequence, but thats ok, right?
So as you enter through the front door, you see a split staircase.
The foyer area is very roomy and spacious.
The living room and dining room are on one side and the office and hall bathroom are on another.
This table is used to throw are keys on after running kids back and fourth all day, ha!
I found this candle holder at Pier 1 Imports. The candle is peach and smells wonderful.
This is the living room. Traditionally, the living room shouldn't have a TV, but this works for our family, or this room would barley get used, ha!
 Another look into the foyer.
Here is a look into the living room from the dining room.
I love the arches in this house that are trimmed out.
The large arched windows bring lots of light into the space which I love.
Here is the front office.
Office shelves decorated.
This is a window in the dining room.
I'm still into the Tuscan style decor, but slowly incorporating lighter and brighter items.
A look into the dining room.
 A closer look...
See all the arches in the house, I love that architectural detail.
The trimmed arches follow the window arches.
I added these faux apples and greenery to this table.
This is the kitchen area.
I love the big island area. Plenty of room for the kids and everyone to sprawl out.
I found the hanging candle chandelier at Ross and added greenery to it.
Here is a pano/photo of the kitchen.
Can you see that sign to the left of the picture? It says....Our Happy Place. I love that sign, I found it at Pier 1 last week.
 Another shot.
Lastly, this vignette is in my family room niche, very Tuscan in style.
Well, thanks for stopping by. Now you got to see a portion of the downstairs area. Hopefully, next time I can post the family room, other dining area, and laundry room/mud room.
xoxo, Liz
P.S. Sorry for the dull lighting, it's a rainy day today.

  10. Looks like a beautiful home! Seems like the biggest one yet? You certainly have a wonderful ability to make a house a home, and to put your special touch on everything! I enjoyed the pictures so much, and can't wait to see more!!!
Where are you living now? I hope you are enjoying the area and making new friends, and having fun exploring your surroundings!
We moved about a mile away from where we used to live here in Derby, Kansas! But even if it was only a mile, it was a big job for us at 65 and 70 yesrs old! I hope we won't have to do it again! 😜
But, it has been fun settling into our smaller home, and it seems easier for us to manage!
Life is filled with adventure in each stage of our lives isn't it?! So we are just taking it one day at a time, and enjoying the journey!

Glad to see a post from you today...I always enjoy them!

    Blessings,
    Linda

  11. Liz, You just made my day!! this is the first chance I got to go through my email and I saw not one , but two posts from you!! After I read through the first post, I felt a little guilty for trying to peek through the rest of the house. But then I saw the second, and my mouth dropped! The house looks stunning and I'm so glad you posted it . I have to say you are responsible for many of my "firsts". You were my first pin and board on Pinterest, my first introduction to blogs( I must have been living under a rock because I had no idea how many blogs were out there and for how long!) and then of course, my first trip to Hobby Lobby. Working at Michael's I had heard of them but I just assumed they had the same stuff. You opened up another world to me and I'm so thrilled to see you haven't given up your blog. I am always left in awe after your posts. Your vignettes are amazing and I am always inspired! Hope to hear from your soon...

  12. Your new home is just beautiful, Liz, and you have given it that special "Liz-touch" that's all about cozy and inviting. I am slowly getting my "groove" back after almost a year on this cancer-journey, and you are such great inspiration to get back to home decorating!

    Warm hugs,
    Carol

  18. What a beautiful house you have Liz! With your talent you have certainly made it into your "home". I also love the architectural details in this house, but its the way you accessorize that makes it special. Thanks for sharing your photos.

  19. Beautiful home, Liz, as usual. Love your sweet little puppy, too. I have a little dog also and I highly recommend the mesh harnesses at Walmart. They don't always have a big selection, but I've used them for years and find that they're comfortable, secure, and easy to get on and off the dog. They're cheap, too, so whenever I find X-Small I stock up. I like that the dog can step into them and they clasp on the back, so there's no danger of the dog pulling on them and the velcro accidentally pulling open.

  21. Liz,

Thank you for sharing pictures of your beautiful home. I love how you incorporate color in your house. The popular style seems to decorate with white everywhere. While that can be attractive to some, the richness that warm colors add to a room is comforting and relaxing.

    Thank you again,
    Kathy
